So as you might have noticed, I’ve been superslacker in the Monthly Update Department lately. I can’t explain why I dropped off posting them, it just sorta happened. There is so much that I’m missing writing down about G’s life right now and I have mama guilt because of that. He’s talking up a storm and still into everything. Last pedi appointment was back in September for his 18 month checkup when he was actually closer to 20 months old. We put it off as long as we could because that was right in the middle of the biggest part of the swine flu outbreak here and I tried to avoid it at all costs.
At that appointment he weighed 29 lbs and was 33.5″ tall, so just under 75 percentile for both. That’s right on track to his linebacker status, so look forward to an outstanding Auburn (and/or UAB) football season in about 16-18 years. The doctor said he looked and acted like a two year old, so no wonder everyone thinks he’s older than he actually is. He’s running 90 to nothing and exploring his little toddlery world just like he should be. So, all that to say… things are good.
Instead of boring you with all the details I decided to do another Day In The Life photo slideshow. I love going back and looking at the one I did when he was 5 months old and seeing just how far we’ve come since then.
We’ve been trying this new thing where they don’t let him nap at school and I nap him here at the office in the afternoons. It’s going semi-well. Just a little meltdown here and there. You’ll get to see a good dose of that in a video about midway through so turn your speakers down so your neighbors won’t call Child Protective Services on you. Also be sure to take your cursor off the main screen so you can see all the images without having the top and bottom bar covering them up.
