How to make these homemade caramel apples
Start by washing the outside of your apples to make certain that they’re clean and ready to go.
Then, once you have that done, you can take a popsicle stick and enter it into the stem area of the apple. Push it in there hard as this is what you’re going to be holding onto when you’re eating your apple.
Next, you need to start melting your caramels. This does take a bit of patience as you’ll want to put about 25 or so caramels into the saucepan on the stove.
Turn your saucepan heat to low and stir until all the caramels are melted. If you feel like you need more caramels, just add them in!
Once all the caramel is melted, it’s time to dip in your apple and cover it with caramel.
Just drop it in and pull it out quickly.
Don’t worry, it’s not hard but once you dip it, you’ll want to move it onto parchment paper and have it sitting up on the opposite side of the popsicle stick.
Let it harden for a while. You’ll know it’s ready to eat when it’s cooled down.
And there you have it. Who’s ready to make their very own caramel apple at home?
