Chuys Copycat Creamy Jalapeno Dip Recipe

  • 1 packet Hidden Valley Ranch Dip mix
  • 16 oz sour cream
  • ¼ cup roasted green chilies -- canned is fine
  • ¼ cup sliced jalapenos -- fresh canned or jarred
  • ¼ cup fresh cilantro leaves
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon garlic I used two cloves
  • ½ teaspoon lemon juice -- or to taste
  • ¼ to ½ cup milk or half and half to thin it down


  1. Pulse all ingredients in a blender or food processor until smooth. Chill and serve cold.

Recipe Notes

Makes about 2.5 cups. Can be stored in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
