Howzit, innernets?
I have all of this stuff I would like to share with you right now, including but not limited to:
- Our day spent outside in the freezing cold sunshine outside the lake cabin
- Something really funny and witty that J said on the way home from the lake that I cannot for the life of me remember right now
- Garrett’s newest “thing” – making a homemade tent out of all the blankets and chenille throws in the living room. The couch and ottoman and our legs make fine tent frames, in case you didn’t know.
- Garrett’s first major accident that involved a mid-movie phone call from the grandparents who needed bandages to stop the bleeding
- J’s latest repurposed table project and all of it’s KICK BUTT GLORY COOLNESS
But in order to tell you about those things I would need photos because I’m a visual blogger like that. I can’t just depend on my neverending flowery paragraphs of descriptions to keep you coming back here for more like some folks. For some reason I feel the need to show you a bazillion photos to document each event. But, trouble is… our laptop is on the fritz, and my three year old dinosaur of a desktop can’t read these new-fangled SD cards that I bought for the DSLR camera. :pout
Sooo….
Instead of telling you all that, I’ll just show you this photo that I snapped with my phone earlier today. This is the back of G’s head after climbing out of his beloved homemade tent. Check out the crazy static ‘do!
It’s what I like to call “Tent Lament”.
I have GOT to get this kid a haircut! We just got one a week before the Christmas cruise, and it’s already this long again. Can you believe that? I see a modeling gig at Mullets-R-Us in this kid’s future.
